gridX presents its podcast series “Watt's up with energy?”

  • gridX launches new expert-led podcast series delving into all things energy – including a strong focus on smart energy management.
  • New bite-sized episodes will be dropping bi-weekly, delving into the background, current status and future outlook of a specific topic, rounding off each season with an expert interview.
  • In the first season, moderator Georgia Knapp dives into Europe’s e-mobility and EV charging infrastructure landscape with gridX Solution Engineer Lars Rheinemann and EV expert Felix Hamer. 


Munich, 4 June 2024 – gridX, Europe’s leading smart energy company, announces the launch of its all-new podcast series “Watt's up with energy?” Designed to offer expert insights and knowledge into the dynamic energy industry and the realm of smart energy management, this podcast promises a deep dive into key topics, presented in a serial format for easy listening.


Launching the first episode today, the gridX podcast will unveil new episodes bi-weekly, each lasting up to 20 minutes without interruption. The series adopts a focused approach, dedicating four consecutive episodes to dissecting a single topic. The seasonal structure ensures a comprehensive exploration of each topic – covering new technology, regulation, market trends and more – with episodes dedicated to background, current state, future outlook and an expert interview with external guests.


Moderated by gridX storytelling expert Georgia Knapp, the first season will analyze the current state of charging infrastructure and e-mobility in Europe. Together with Lars Rheinemann, Solution Engineer and e-mobility expert at gridX, they answer burning questions, identify leaders and uncover countries that need to put on the accelerator. The season will conclude with an expert interview with Felix Hamer, successful EV influencer and mobility expert from the Netherlands, also known as Electric Felix.


As gridX continues to pioneer smart energy solutions, the podcast series serves as a crucial resource for industry professionals and enthusiasts. Upcoming seasons will explore the importance of interoperability in energy management, featuring an expert interview with leading global suppliers of solar inverters, energy storage and solar power systems, Sungrow, and delve into the topic of home energy management systems (HEMS). Stay tuned for expert insights and cutting-edge discussions on the future of energy.
