Users can be identified by RFID, for example. In this way it is possible to distinguish between different groups.
Yes, you can buy both solutions from us. Please feel free to contact us for this here.
XENON offers various functions, which have been developed for the energy sector. This can best be explained by the integration of different devices. If you want to develop your own load management, for example, XENON offers a uniform interface to all supported devices. So you do not have to worry about how to control them, but can focus on the logic of your solution.
We continuously improve XENON and add new features. Updates are immediately available to all users. An overview of all current integrations can be found here.
That depends on the application. For charging solutions a switch is required in addition to the box. Therefore, the installation here is done by us directly or by one of our partners.
For home applications the gridBox can also be installed by the end customer. Only a LAN cable and a power cable have to be connected. With the nine-digit start code of the box the customer can then initiate the setup process. The box scans the network for controllable devices and is ready for use after a few minutes.
Our local gateway, the gridBox, sends signals in a frequency of up to 200ms. AC-charging stations, however, are a bit "slow" and there are big differences between models and manufacturers. However, there are minimum standards that all stations meet: They can receive a signal at least every 5 seconds and need another maximum of 5 seconds to act on the signal. In our experience, DC charging stations are much faster in this respect.
If the connected car does not follow an order, the concerned charging point is completely switched off if there is a risk of overload. When the load is turned up, cars behave very differently in our experience. Some of them ramp up the load in a few seconds, others need a few minutes and some do not adapt at all.
